I have been using custom rom for my Galaxy Grand Duos for quite some time. Around two years maybe. If you are asking why then it’s because the vendor does not release next official rom for my Galaxy Grand Duos and another reason is my Grand Duos growing slower and slower. Okay here is my custom rom provided by Cyanogenmod. This is cyanogenmod unofficial version for Galaxy Grand Duos (Device Model : GT-I9802). Android version 5.0.2.

Sebelumnya saya telah membuat artikel berkenaan dengan error pada AppGyver steroids tanpa menjelaskan lebih awal apa itu AppGyver. Kenapa sekarang mulai membahas AppGyver ?. Awalnya tertarik untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis HTML5 yang dapat berjalan pada dua buah platform Android atau iOS ya (disamping sebuah tuntutan ? :D). Ada hikmah yang dapat diambil sekalipun nanti pengembangan tidak menggunakan AppGyver. Ketertarikan pada AppGyver dimulai ketika salah satu client meminta tolong membuatkan sebuah aplikasi yang dapat diakses multiplatform (Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone ??). Sebelum masuk ke dalam ranah mobile (kalau untuk sekedar develop sudah pernah) saya tidak berani coba-coba apalagi ini menyangkut nama baik tentu butuh masukan lebih banyak. Solusi awal adalah meminta nasehat kepada sahabat saya yang sudah terjun sebelumnya di bisnis mobile dan turunannya.
Ada yang sudah pernah coba AppGyver ?. Ada yang sudah pernah menemukan error AppGyver steroids ?. Bagi mereka developer android dan iOS mungkin sudah pernah mendengar. AppGyver merupakan salah satu tool yang dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah developer mengembangkan aplikasi yang bergerak pada Android atau iOS. Biasanya sebelum mencoba sebuah tool saya buat artikel pengantar cuma karena sudah mendesak dan mungkin banyak yang menemukan permasalahan ini maka tidak ada salahnya saya coba share pengalaman saya ketika awal mau mencoba. Artikel pengantar semoga bisa dituliskan dalam beberapa waktu ke depan.
Saya belum akan membahas bagaimana coding di Android akan tetapi kali ini saya akan membahas terlebih dahulu bagaimana cara integrasi Eclipse dengan Android SDK. Sebenarnya hal ini sudah sangat banyak terdapat di internet namun tidak ada salahnya saya coba untuk menulis ulang dengan praktek langsung pada laptop yang saya punya. Saya tidak akan membahas dengan detil apa fungsi Eclipse karena itu di luar konteks tulisan. Intinya Eclipse adalah salah satu perangkat lunak (IDE?) yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan perangkat lunak berbasis web ataupun desktop.

I wrote this article as a guide for those already stuck to find a way out of problems “too many pattern attempts” on Samsung Galaxy 5 GT-I5503 Eclair Europe Version. This happened when I used to put a password on Samsung Galaxy pattern, then my son fiddling until it finally happens. Samsung that I bought is still under warranty but I’m afraid it takes a long time if given to a samsung service center while I have to immediately use it.
I’ve tried looking in some forums but did not provide any solutions. I cannot reboot into recovery mode by pressing the “Vol Up” + “Center Button” + “Power Button” or any other key combination. I think this is a bug in the Eclair. I will try to provide one solution that might solve your problem. It should be noted I am not responsible for what happens on your Samsung Galaxy 5 if anything happens. In these conditions you also still can backup all your Contacts and all your data through Samsung Kies. Quickly backup!. Here are some things you need to fix it:
1. Odin Flash 4.28 and the Ops (http://www.4*shared.com/file/J-WSCJSX/odin_v428_and_ops_file.html)
2. Android SDK Development (http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html). You don’t have to download this if you can Hard Reset
3. USB Cable from Samsung Galaxy
First, follow the steps on this forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=781149 flash to upgrade from Eclair to Froyo (WHAT !!!), then after that I’m sure your Samsung Galaxy 5 still in a state of locked mode (What The ??!!…). Patience first. After you flash your Samsung Galaxy 5 will still be in a locked state mode.
Second, then you Hard Reset with the combination of “Vol Up” + “Center Button” + “Power Button” (for this combination I do not use it). I prefer to use the Android SDK Development through the command adb. Noted that the position of Samsung Galaxy 5 still plugged in the USB. Use the command in adb “adb reboot recovery”. After that your Samsung Galaxy 5 will reboot and go into recovery mode. Please select “Data Wipe” and “Wipe Cache” (as I recall). REMEMBER!, backup first using KIES before choosing the “Wipe!”. Once completed, insha Allah your Samsung Galaxy 5 will back fine with FROYO without “Too Many Login Attempts Pattern”. Good luck! 🙂
